Holiday Vibes £54K of our restaurant spend has gone to help Syria

There are three in total in London. I often go to the one in Mayfair on Woodstock st. Perfect spot when shopping in the West End situated right in between New Bond St and Regent St.

But my favourite is Regents Park. I love the one in St John’s Wood.

We sat outside on a gorgeous heated patio. Loads of people enjoying the break between Christmas and New Year so a really fun vibe.

Gorgeous roaring fire inside and beautiful stylish holiday decorations. Feels like you are right at home inside where the piping hot coffee smells swelled around chatter and laughter.

The food was good, not a massive menu but certainly something for everybody. They have a full bar but not the kind of place people get drunk. More of a coffee and cake place, a bite to eat than a place to languish over a three course meal. The customers looked like a collection of cool couples, young families and visitors all enjoying eating outside on a crisp winter day.

The most special thing I thought was the staff. Our waitress could not have been better. Made us feel like she really cared we were having a good time.

I know this restaurant was started by Syrian refugees also I believe they give a portion of the bill to help which couldn’t be more timely right now.

A job really well done on every level. Even the loos are super architectural and cute.

I should have taken more pictures inside, aside from the gorgeous bathroom, I love the art in there, the shot from outside doesn’t show you the magic that awaits.

They are Halal friendly which as a vegan isn’t ideal for me and may not work for other people too but the staff always happy to try and accommodate dietary requests

I would like to see populations being asked by leaders if they want to see their taxes spent to build armies and buy weapons and use military force to intimidate and terrorise other nations and people we just don’t like or who don’t agree with us. The reason I joined Poopsnoop is to have a voice. I am sick of seeing people being blown up indiscriminately and not being able to do a damn thing about it. It’s demoralising, depressing I feel complicit and not the point of life. Oh and I don’t understand why in a democracy we can longer hold up a sign in peace saying stop the genocide or free palastine, and I am not taking sides here, without being arrested. Unarmed civilians being starved and attacked by government powers is wrong who ever is giving the orders or holding the guns.
