I have been using Beauty Pie Wonderfilter blurring skin primer and setting spray for a few years, and didn’t really have a reason to change until my sister came to visit from France to escape the upset there for a few days and we went shopping for make up, something we like to do, look at new product releases and try something new.
If you’ve been following my snooping you already know I’ve had a lifetime testing out beauty products and rarely change these days except whilst my sister was purchasing the new foundation from Givenchy, Prisme Libre colour corrector with serum, an active skincare ingredient another consultant was excited to show me Prisme Libre set and glow primer. She didn’t even know I already used a product like this.
And even though I am cynical about beauty consultants hitting sales targets and pretty hard to convert, she seemed genuine and she got me to listen.
I was so impressed by this product when it went on my skin I invested there and then, again something unusual for me.
Being an older woman who wears make up every day I am conscious of how foundation sits on my skin so a great primer product is essential, I’ve talked about Mrs Rodial primer in the past I am sure.
This Givenchy product is like nothing I’ve ever tried before. Difficult to describe but unlike my Beauty Pie Wonderfilter which goes on wet, like a dusting of water, this is dry. I know a spray that isn’t wet but that’s the magic.
You spray before foundation as a primer which creates the super smooth base for foundation and then after your complete make up is applied as a setting spray glow product to help your make up endure.
Now a very mature woman the challenges of make up on older skin are real.
If you are looking for a silky smooth unbelievable soft skin primer I’d definitely recommend this product.
I cannot express how much this product impressed me. It feels absolutely wonderful when you apply it. Like a spray on younger skin that stops your foundation clogging and makes you feel younger.
I paid £44 for 100ml in a department store but I’ve found it at My origins on offer for a great deal at £28 link below.
I didn’t try the flow serum foundation but my sister who has tried them all Les Beiges, Ester Lauder Double Wear, even went full coverage Mario says it’s great coverage and really liked it.
