Watch And Learn Girls, Watch and Learn. Let’s hope Jasmine can handle two boys and keep her integrity, character, principles and grace in tact.
We’re back addicted to our daily fix of Love Island, 9pm and I am not going anywhere.
Lorenzo the heartthrob has woken up to the fact Kavan, Aiden’s younger brother has pinched his girl, and cool cat Jasmine appears to have played a blinder on the catch of 2026 playboy Lorenzo Alessi in his YSL, Tom Ford, Persol (I don’t think from the EBay wardrobe provided) oversized sunglasses.
Pria has kissed him in the hideaway but he’s not interested, she needs to take a leaf out of Jasmine’s book matching Lorenzo, shadowing his distance and reserve to create the environment for him to make chase.
When Jasmine insisted on a three way chat with Pria and Lorenzo, a sandwich with him in the middle, it was watch and learn TV gold for girls who want to know where they are going wrong when it comes to guys. She wasn’t letting either of them get the better of her as she told Pria Lorenzo had just been lovely to her and she likes it in front of him. He of course couldn’t bullshit Pria in that situation and manipulate the situation to make Jasmine feel insecure. I-0 to Jasmine and then wait for it, she took Kavan upstairs to the renamed “Kent Terrace” and leaned in so far he had no choice but to go for it.
I don’t think at 28 she’s interested in Kav, 21 and I feel he knows it as Lorenzo had a chat with him acknowledging he’d taken his eye off the ball and allowed the young bombshell to move in on “his girl”
We had to look up what the metaphor “keeping the lambo on the driveway” meant.
We understood Lorenzo to mean Jasmine was his Lamborghini he was admiring and keeping there for the aesthetic but was yet to get behind the wheel.
He talked about only just realising what the game of Love Island was about. let’s not forget bombshell Yasmin is also in the mix as both Lorenzo and Yasmin coyly admitted to liking each other. Jasmine went so far as to say Lorenzo got the women queuing up and knows it.
It was an incredible cliffhanger as we were all left hanging in the middle of a recoupling that is going to be so explosive regardless of what producers have in mind, will Lorenzo or Kavan get to pick Jasmine first?
Whichever way it goes, my money is on Kavan for the upset, I don’t think Jasmine will be bothered. She wants to see Lorenzo fight for her. And she’s played it brilliantly so far, holding everything thing back and using Kavan to make Lorenzo jealous. She even said it.
Some fans have been complaining about the new challenge drew more grown up format. For me the cast this year are creating the drama all on their own.
It’s only a couple of days ago everyone was asking What happened to footballer George Knight?
Even I have googled to try and discover what happened in week one of Love Island?
It’s the fastest love Island Bombshell exit ever from the show.
He appeared with bombshell Yasmin towards the end of episode 1 on Monday 27th May and was gone by Sunday, episode 6 when fellow cast member Lorenzo announced to the group George was gone citing personal reasons.
ITV were tight lipped about the reason saying it was a personal matter and up to George to share his reason or not. George later cryptically said on his Instagram “Family comes first”
There are so many articles on line, all saying the same thing, no one knows what prompted the footballers exit after becoming a form favourite amongst fans and central to the developing story line and love triangle between scouser Robyn and Barbadian Bajen Beauty Mica.
The last we saw of George, Dorking Wanderers professional midfielder was Mica challenging him directly by politely and calmly calling him out for kissing Robyn on the terrace immediately after recoupling with her. She was very serious when she called time on them getting to know each other romantically without bitterness or any emotional outburst, simply stating she thought he had a better connection with Robyn and left him free to explore that while she explored other options. Being second best so quickly wasn’t for her. George did appear shocked and disheartened by her one strike you are out policy and I do wonder if this had any bearing on his decision to leave.
The audition process for a show like Love Island is tough and being chosen to appear is not something a cast member would give up lightly, especially when you are the centre of the action so it does make me think, even if a family member had tragically died, had a severe accident or terminal diagnosis I don’t think someone would leave, how would they know. I think a family would like to see a loved one seize the massive opportunity they had been given. What can anyone really do to help if someone dies? And what else could it be?
ITV have been extremely quiet, George has given a vague explanation on Instagram looking extremely happy with his sister and dog.
Usually when someone gets removed from a reality setting like this it’s way more sinister than I’m giving up this massive life changing opportunity for my family.
It may be true but I for one am not buying it. The truth always comes out in the end.
Rooting for Jasmine.
It’s been a long time since we’ve had a Love Island leading lady like her.
(Still love you Helena:))
