Have to say the service I received from Mobile Tyre Buddy was great but they were expensive and not the ones to fix my tyre in the end in Leicestershire.

They are based in Oldham near Manchester and along with Zaman Recovery Services book emergency appointments for other service providers, like a broker and take a fee for securing that booking.

It was an expensive way to do it but I choose to have the convenience of getting my problem sorted quickly without much research to be honest.

Adam at Zaman Recovery helped me book my tyre assistance although I had called Mobile Tyre Buddy, they are two separate companies that work together. He handled everything smoothly and got the mobile tyre repairer Safe Road Tyres, a separate service provider business out to me quickly.

I did question the £100 upfront charge which was explained as necessary for the business because many people let them down, a driver is dispatched, then isn’t needed. Their reviews are good on both Trustpilot and Google so I was confident all would be fine when paying the £100 deposit for the mobile tyre repairer to attend to fix replace my tyre.

The service provided was seamless and the company who got the booking to help me did turn up on time and did do a great job. To be fair Zaman Recovery do say on their website they provide “mobile tyre fitters near you”, which is exactly what they did. And logically it would be impossible for one company to service a wide geographical area.

I just didn’t realise until the work was over it was three separate companies, this was not really made clear at the time of booking. I found out afterwards calling the company who fixed the tyre directly would have saved me the booking fee and the balance £140 for the tyre replacement was the fee to actually replace the tyre.

I did end up with two separate invoices.

Good on Mobile Tyre Buddy and Zaman Recovery for getting the work through their online marketing. They dispatched someone to do the work, they turned up quickly and did a good job. So no complaints.

I’d just say to anyone in the same boat, definitely call a few different companies. The fee for the same service varies quite considerably I discovered.
