I’ve been following Richard Gianorio consistently for several years now. When Instagram was so fashionable 10 years ago I stumbled across a few accounts Ecran Magazine and stylist Barbara Baumel, daughter of prominent French politician and deputy of the French National Assembly Jaques Baumel whose feeds I now genuinely look forward to, photographer Alexandre Mares and blogger Emanuela Formosa , fashion lovers.net (although I probably need to do a whole RAVE for her)
Richard’s feed features a lot of water which as an ocean swimmer is maybe part of the attraction.i love being on the water, in the water, looking at the water and as a talented photographer, something I also love doing taking pictures, his images seem to hold that je me sais quoi for me.
He’s got taste, a simple coffee cup can make me screen shot if it’s Richard’s. I’ll follow him down a corridor to no where more times than not and enjoy looking from his car window. His filming techniques I have certainly learned from.
Ralph Lauren once said about his inspiration from the British simplicit, sometimes things are so familiar and super stylish the people with the style don’t notice and this for me sums up Richard Gianorio, someone who exists in his stylish world not influenced by the views or opinions of others. I guess that’s why I am attracted.
FYI he goes to some very glamourous fashion parties and gets some really up close and personal candid shots of massive Hollywood stars, equally comfortable and happy in his orbit.
As the popularity for Instagram has waned and creativity and passion has been replaced with marketing content and shopping links there are still a few feeds out their full of humour and ooddles of style, You just have to know where to look.
I heart a lot, I comment here and there; I am not a people pleaser I genuinely love the feed.So far Mr. Gianario has not responded but then again why would he, he doesn’t know me.
I watch and follow because of the quality of content, it’s that simple.
